We were very fortunate to be visited by Luc and Nicole Jacque from Ecurie Ardennais de la Mess, the Ardennes facility in Luxembourg from where we imported our original Ardennes horses. Check out their website here: https://ardennerpaerd.com/
Luc and Nicole were able to tour our farm, meet our herd and educate us on the health and conformation of the Ardennes breed. It was wonderful sharing the ongoing legacy of the 3 original horses (Vanda, Duchess, and Felix) that we imported years back from Luc and Nicole’s Luxembourg farm.
Dave and Nancy Selinger from Dream Mountain Ranch in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta also came to visit our Luxembourg friends and will be importing young mares and a Stud this winter from Ecurie Ardennais de la Mess.
We are looking forward to our 3 new mares coming to Ardennes Canada, McBride this winter from Ecurie Ardennais de la Mess. We will keep you posted on their cross ocean journey.
